IQ Smart Drive

An Intelligent Dewatering Solution

Once our stand-alone drive is set up in the field and tailored to the individual well characteristics, it will begin to learn (with the smart-time feature) the flow recovery rates of the well and begin self-adjusting until it understands the well’s inflow patterns. This allows for maximum production while minimizing wear and tear on the pump and motor. The whole objective is to keep your pump and motor operating at peak performance as defined in the manufacturer’s manuals. We have field tested this particular unit for two years with no problems, pulls or downtime. The identical software that is in this unit has been field tested for ten years in other units with similar results. This drive also requires very little maintenance and is completely upgradable as your needs may demand.

Built-in Features:

  • Smart Logic cycling with minimum run time adjustment

  • Motor overload protection

  • Over and under voltage protection

  • Phase loss and reversal protection

  • Phase conversion from single to 3 phase

  • Inherent pump-off control

  • Remote communication capability

  • Precise high and low discharge pressure protection

  • Casing pressure protection

  • Display monitors for run percentage and cycles per day

  • Completely upgradable

Requirements:

  • Designed for 480V 3 phase motor, + or – 5% voltage

  • Can be used for 480V single phase supply 5-10 HP motor

  • Can be used for 480V three phase supply 10-20 HP motor

  • When used for high or low discharge pressure protection, must have one 4-20 ma, 0-300 psi, class 1 div. 2 pressure transducer.

  • When used for high and low casing pressure, a 0-10v class 1 div. 2 transducer is required.

  • If the motor is over 300’ from the controller, a long lead filter is recommended.

  • If your power company does not have adequate lightning protection, we would recommend protecting your investment with at least a 50 Ka transient voltage suppression system.

IQ Smart Drive Plus

Advanced Features, this Model ONLY

Our Smart Drive Plus offers all the same features as our Smart Drive, with some added elements to enhance its value.  It also learns (with the smart-time feature) the flow recovery rates of the well and begins self-adjusting until it understands the well's inflow patterns.  And, as with the Smart Drive, it requires minimal maintenance as it has been field tested for ten years with very little downtime.  Click on the blue 'Built-in Features' button below to see everything set into this drive.
